HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – Authorities are searching for a suspect who was allegedly shot during a home invasion early Saturday morning in north Harris County.
Deputies said a man in his early 20s broke into a home through a front window near the intersection of Lillja and Noonday around 1:15 a.m.
Authorities said the homeowner woke up due to the ruckus and grabbed his gun as the suspect jumped back out of the window. The homeowner fired one shot and struck the suspect in the buttocks, but the suspect continued to flee and eventually got away.

Second story said something about charges. With Castle Doctrine, being at night and a 73 y/o man who just lost his wife, I wouldn't want to be a DA that tried to take that old man to trial.

And if they did, put me on the jury. I'm not putting him in jail.
