In Turkey today the defendant in a criminal case was shot in the courtroom during the trial and lost an eye.

The alleged shooter was a business partner of the victim that the defendant is accused of killing. He used a "car key gun" that was capable of firing two cartridges, which he got through courthouse security.

They are reportedly cheap and legal in Bulgaria, which happens to be conveniently close to where the shooting occurred.

My first thought was, I guess he's not guilty if was shot by the person he's accused of killing. Then I read the article and realized the shooter was a business partner of the guy he was accused of killing.

I"m sure it probably can't. It probably has too many parts for 922r, probably like the Glock 380 doesn't comply with toooo many import restrictions (not target trigger/sights etc). It would have to be an AOW. So, if a currently filed bill passes, we'd have to set up a factory and make them in Texas to exempt them from Federal law .
That is some interesting engineering/design
(I haven't read the bill, just heard about one similar to what some other states passed)

I'm pretty sure it can't...it was just a comment made in jest.

Id love a G18, but that won't be happening anytime soon. lol
