Texas City: Five charged with 10 burglaries in one night

In Texas City early Saturday, five minors were arrested and charged with vehicle burglaries on 15th Avenue North. Police said that about 10 vehicles were burglarized. All were left unlocked by their owners.
Police arrested three suspects at the Tradewinds apartments on 13th Avenue (not a high-rent district). A fourth suspect was arrested when he arrived at the apartments on a bicycle that had been reported stolen. The fifth was arrested when he was found to be intoxicated at a restaurant on Palmer Highway at 7 a.m.
