Elementry school shooting-robbery

Elementary School Worker Shot in Robbery

ATLANTA (AP) - A 62-year-old repairman is recovering after Atlanta police say he was shot during a robbery outside an elementary school Thursday.

No children were around when it happened at Boyd Elementary School around 1:00 p.m.

Police say the man was making some type of repairs when two men approached, took out a gun and demanded the victim’s keys and wallet.

That’s when police say one of them fired, shooting the victim his lower left leg.
