Lancaster homeowner fatally shoots 19-year-old intruder

A homeowner shot and killed a 19-year-old intruder inside his home Thursday evening, police said.
Break-in ends in fatal shooting

The shooting happened around 7 p.m. when the 39-year-old homeowner arrived home in the 100 block of West Fourth Street....

Watch for follow up stories on this one.

The article states that the homeowner didn't know the intruder, but police don't believe the motive was burglary. It doesn't elaborate on what they think it was.

The comments section has people saying that the kid was drunk and was dropped off by a friend in front of what the friend thought was the kid's brother's house which was actually down the way. The people posting comments don't speculate on how he made his way in, but don't believe he had to "break" in. After stumbling into the house, the homeowner, who was not necessarily a CHL holder, discovered and shot him.

I updated the OP. There is a 911 tape there in the second link. The owner was scared to death. He was incoherent in the next half of the audio, so scared to say like he when I left to the bedroom to the kitchen, the intruder was coming into the kitchen, incoherent. His voice was clearly shacking all the time, he even retreated to his bedroom to call 911 (and maybe grab his firearm)
