SAN ANTONIO -- What police say may have been a drug-related shooting outside a northeast side school has left one man dead and another wounded.
As of 7:15 a.m., investigators were still on the campus of Clear Spring Elementary.

Don't these people know that's a GUN-FREE/Drug-Free ZONE ????????????????????
I'm guessing they need a BIGGER SIGN, yep, that should fix it !!! :banghead:

That's why I'm armed when dropping off/picking up my niece.
(Because "who would ever need a gun at an elementary school?")
My brother drops her off here at 3:00 a.m; he has to be at work at 4:00 so I take her later, so she doesn't have to hang out in the dangerous "gun-free-zone" any longer than necessary. Otherwise, she'd be at school at 3:00 a.m.

I'm appalled that the laws (and the signs "enforcing" that law) didn't stop these guys.
[Insert pithy witicism here]

It's obviously a literacy issue. Ironically , had they gone to the same elementary school in their earlier years they would have been able to read the signs and most certainly would have obeyed them.

So what they just proved to everyone is that gun free and drug free zones do not apply to criminals.

Funny thing is they went to the trouble of breaking the lock on the fence to get in there to do this drug deal turned murder instead of doing it somewhere that was already "open".

What about Vietnamese? If government election ballots are available in tiếng Việt then why aren't government signs?
