You're going to pull a fork on the car-jacker? :headscratch

"“The thought of somebody doing that is beyond me,” explained the Dallas mother, who doesn’t want to be identified. “This is a safe area. It’s a really safe area.”"

Typical sheep response. It can't happen to me. :banghead:

As this particular case unfolded, a CHL holder would be legally allowed to carry in that school parking lot (Federal law would prohibit carry under MPA). But what happens if this woman and her kids were outside the car and she was walking them into the school? Say the thieves really wanted her particular car for some reason and were willing to commit an "in person confrontation" crime to get it. Thieves pull up, jump out and demand the woman's keys (and likely her purse too). Now she has NO POSSIBILITY of armed self-defense response and she and her children are sitting ducks out in the open on property that her taxes paid for.

We need campus carry for ALL CAMPUSES, not just colleges. I'm sick and tired of misguided gun-free zone laws disarming me when I drop off and pick up my children from school. This is hands down the MOST VULNERABLE I am at any time on any given day - and my kids are right there with me, just as vulnerable.

:iagree: I have to disarm everytime I drop off or pick up my kids from the school before and after program. I hate it.
