Five people were shot in East Oak Cliff

DALLAS — Five people were shot in East Oak Cliff Wednesday night.
Police told News 8 that someone inside a dark colored sport utility vehicle opened fire on the victims near the intersection of Seevers and East Hobson avenues about 9 p.m. — then sped away.
Some of the people who were shot managed to go to a nearby home to call for help.
The victims were taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital, Methodist Dallas Medical Center and Baylor University Medical Center. Their conditions were not available.
A vehicle that may be linked to the assailants was found abandoned nearby.
