14 year old arrested for murdering 3 teens and wounding one at a convenience store.
What is wrong in this world, where are the parents? How did this white kid get access to a handgun? Where is his shirt, geez?
This is horrible!

The same ways any kid (black, hispanic, asian, ECT.) gets access to guns. Unsecured parents firearms, stolen from friends houses, bought stolen from someone else, older kid doing straw purchase, ECT. They even find them on occasion tossed out by someone who may have committed a crime with them. Maybe the kid broke into someones home and stole it himself. No matter the race of the kid, they can all find them the same ways. As responsible gun owners, we are simply going to have to make sure that any gun not currently in our possession is properly locked away and stored.

Article at link above has been updated:
33-y.o. man who was driver has been arrested in connection with shooting.
The 14-year-old is still a person of interest in the case, though. Detectives are searching for additional evidence that can positively identify the shooter, police said.
Police also now know the motive. It was a targeted attack on several of the store patrons in retaliation for an earlier incident, they said.

The son was the shooter. Good ol dad drove him up there to kill whomever he wanted to. Dad can't be all bad. He just waited for him in the car. That whole family must be solid stupid. Death penalty please on isle 3.

A 14-year-old boy taken into custody earlier this week was determined not to be the shooter but "remains a person of interest in the investigation," police said.
NOW: @GarlandPD identifies a 14yo juvenile suspect as shooter - adding it's not typical to identify a juvenile but "due to the nature of the offense and potential risk to the public, the court has authorized release of his information." @NBCDFW

This is a strange story. They arrested a kid and released him. I guess he was the wrong one. Now they are looking for another 14 year old, the son of the man arrested. I can't wait to get more facts.

Grew up in Garland back in the 60s. Then, the biggest trouble a 14-year-old would get into was toilet papering a house, or for the really bold, driving without a license. Punishment was usually a trip to the Police Station and parents called. Last time I was there, things had really changed. In the 60s, it was a middle-class bedroom community with lots of rural areas surrounding. There was even an airport for general aviation between Garland and Dallas. I used to fly the CAP airplane down from Denton when I was at NTSU (now UNT) and land there and my folks would pick me up for dinner. Now we have what appear to be gang related murders.

Police in Garland are seeking Abel Elias Acosta and said Wednesday that they have evidence showing he was the gunman who left three teens dead and wounded a fourth at the suburban gas station's convenience store Sunday.

Yea, right. Real rocket scientist. Looks like dad drove kid to store to get revenge on someone. Maybe I am missing something, but this one stinks. Where is the kid?

Likely being hidden by one of his relatives. People like that tend to be a whole family of scum.

The kid is still hiding, that is not good. Someone has to talk sooner or later.
BTW, the lawyer of the Dad with a smirk, is a little crazy. He said dad has no clue what his his son was about to do, or even he was armed.

He has had enough time that he is probably in Mexico with other family by now.
