The way that guy speaks makes one think that he believes himself to be a person of African American heritage from some kind of inner city ghetto somewhere. What a wannabe! He reminds me of that old Sinbad movie—Houseguest—in which he is staying with a white suburban family. Their daughter is dating a whiter than wonderbread kid who is always trying to act and talk "gangsta," and it isn't really workin' for him. Sinbad has to finally set him straight. Funny stuff. This guy would be funny stuff if he weren't so damned ignorant. It's just pathetic, really.... all that bravado.Jumping Frog wrote:Since the BG made his facebook private, here is the complete fb postings captured on an OFCC member's blog: http://gunguynextdoor.blogspot.com/2011 ... gs-of.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

There's some gutter language but it's good insight into the mind of a thug.
I believe the basic political division in this country is not between liberals and conservatives but between those who believe that they should have a say in the personal lives of strangers and those who do not.

Depends on the caliber; PowRBall is light and fast, (and low flash) but that's not something the .45ACP does well. I do carry a speed strip of it in .357 as a low-penetration option to load if I know I'm going to be in a crowded place where a contact-distance shot with anything else from a .357 is certain to overpenetrate.Rex B wrote:Note to self: no more PowrBall

As someone who used to carry a Zippo in the watch pocket of my jeans and took a long time to get the hang of not overfilling it, I can say that if he doesn't wash thoroughly pretty soon he'll be really easy to ID the next dayThe Annoyed Man wrote:Gas stations also present a handy self defense weapon: a gas pump. That is a very astute and concise review of the pluses & minuses of PowRBall ammo. Thanks for the infoKD5NRH wrote:Depends on the caliber; PowRBall is light and fast, (and low flash) but that's not something the .45ACP does well. Looking at those two wounds, the Powerball did a number on that dude. The one talking all the smack on FB is lucky he don't have a matching set!

One other thought...I finished reading all 35 pages on the Ohio board and one resounding thought kept coming back into my mind! The BG undoubtedly will be wearing a colostomy bag for a minimum of 8-10 months! Kinda hard to be a gang banger when you gotta hold your poop!!! I bet this slows him down just a bit and forces him to think about what he done did!

What a piece of work this guy is. Some people really have no clue how ignorant they really are. I love the facebook chatter talking like a bunch of thugs. Everyone on his facebook page was talking like that. lol Its bad enough I have to dial 1 to get English its even worse when the English sounds third world because you think it is cool. Act like an idiot got dealt with like an idiot.If he wouldn't have survived i would have referred to it as positive population adjustment. Instead I am sure he will be out on the streets again real soon.

It appears that Mr. Blackburn...the idiot who was on Facebook bragging, admitting his crime, and claiming to be a victim...was arrested again recently for carrying a concealed weapon! Idiots never learn...they need to send this dude to Texas!Mr.ViperBoa wrote:What a piece of work this guy is. Some people really have no clue how ignorant they really are. Billie Blackburn gets arrested again. . .
Yeah, Mr. "FaceBook" made the news again. He was arrested on a First Degree (equiv to Class A) misdemeanor charge of carrying a concealed weapon.
Carrying a loaded concealed weapon is a felony in Ohio, so I don't know if the loser was carrying an unloaded gun (maybe his tweaker brainstem thought he was in California?), or if they didn't arrest him for the felony charge. . . .
We don't need that trash in Texas. . . . let Ohio keep him. Or, maybe send him to Sheriff Joe Arpaio, I hear he is pretty soft on jailbirds!![Jester :biggrinjester:](./images/smilies/biggrinjester.gif)

Of course he was strapped! It's dangerous out there! Didn't you hear about his homeboy getting shot? He has to defend himself!
I'll quit carrying a gun when they make murder and armed robbery illegal

I can find no articles about the arrest, just the booking link above, and Jumping Frog's comment on it being a misdemeanor. As noted, under Ohio law carrying a concealed weapon without license (or under a few other exceptions) is a midemeanor unless the weapon is a loaded firearm or the ammunition is 'close at hand.'
So the fact that he got arrested on a misdemeanor level CCW indicates that he was probably arrested not for carrying an unloaded gun with no ammo close at hand, but some other weapon, such as a knife...

Mr. Billy Blackburn Jr., the unshot half of the duo that assaulted the guy at the gas station, was indeed arrested for carrying a concealed knife on 16 Jul 11, and he bailed out of jail two days later (bail was $1500). He was assigned a public defender, but then the public defender was replaced by another attorney.
He went to trial on 26 Jul 11, charged with misdeanor attempted carry of a concealed weapon (knife), to which he pled guilty, and jaywalking, which was dismissed. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail, of which 88 days were suspended, and he was credited with two days he spent in jail. He was fined $100, assessed court costs of $111, plus a $10 processing fee, and has a balance of $221 to be paid by 25 Aug 11. However, there was also a fine amount of $25 suspended, not sure how that figures in. The judge ordered the knife destroyed.
He has some other outstanding warrants per the website, but comments in other forums indicate the website can be substantially out of date. The warrants are for failure to appear and collections, and are at least three years old. There is one recent entry for a collection that was "served," so maybe he paid everything up recently.
Apparently no legal movement on charging him or his buddy for the gas station event.
http://www.daytonmunicipalcourt.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Interestingly, his 2009 conviction for not having required lights on his bicycle cost him $274.30.
WHOOPS, CORRECTION: The Billy Blackburn who got nicked on his bicycle was NOT the subject of this post. I didn't check the birthdate initially. The bicycle offender has a birthdate 24 years prior to BB Jr, as well as a long list of misdemeanor interactions with the law. I suspect the acorn did not fall far from the tree.
