Yes, by His Grace, that little boy who ran and hid could be fatherless today.

This is why I carry, to protect my children!
If you carry a gun, people call you paranoid. Nonsense! If you carry a gun, what do you have to be paranoid about?

On the news tonight, the "shooter" says that his gun didn't malfunction, "it just wasn't cocked." and the one of the victims says that the "shooter" pulled the trigger five times because he heard the clicks.

If it wasn't cocked, one has to wonder how it fired outside, and if it was a semi-auto, which the videos show, one has to wonder what all the clicking was, do Glocks do that? Or maybe it was a DA semi-auto.

Worse than his sorry worthless firearm, was the criminal explaining why he "lost it" at McDonald. He claims he wanted to rob keys of vehicle so he can run away from someone who wants to kill him. :banghead:

I find the victims statement a little hard to buy into. Remember, one of the victims interviewed at the Navy Yard shooting claimed to have seen the shooter carrying an AR15. Of course we know from the videos that it was a shotgun.
Given how often "eyewitness" accounts are proven to be grossly inaccurate, it's amazing that such testimony is weighted so heavily in trials.
I've heard of studies where a group of people were shown a video clip and then asked to write down their version of what happened. Another group was then asked to sort the papers putting like stories together. The end result was papers that the second group felt were completely unrelated to the others.

Group 1 (Those fearful of Evil Guns): Always see an 'Assault Rifle' when confronted by a Firearm
Group 2 (RKBA and Firearms Enthusiasts): Always evaluate what the weapon is and attempt to determine its shortcomings when confronted by a Firearm

Cocked probably means that he hadn't chambered a round in the SA. Some SA pistols like Taurus' will let you pull the trigger over and over without 'recocking' the gun. The pistol will click every time. I wonder if he didn't have a round chambered, pulled the trigger several times, then went out and chambered a round, the gun fired, but then didn't for some reason chamber another round and when he went back in it was not firing again? If so, it sounds more and more like divine intervention to me. :thumbs2:

I do not want to imagine myself at that McDonnald, cause most likely there would be a call for the morgue.

I think this video goes with this story: " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I always have trouble embedding videos, so maybe one of you folks and take care of that for me. ;-)

Saw the video on TV, this punk should be locked up for the rest of his life.

Only by the grace of God no one was hurt. It certainly had nothing to do with this guys intent.

Really made me mad seeing him come up to innocent people and pulling the trigger like he did.

Could it possibly be just an old gun with a worn out firing pin?

And some say there is no God. I believe there is!
Be without fear in the face of your enemies.
Stand brave and upright that the Lord may love thee.
Speak the truth always even if it means your death.
Protect the helpless and do no wrong!
