:iagree: My thoughts exactly.

Anyone notice how the "money guy" in black didn't even attempt to open the register? He was looking for stashed cash somewhere under that counter. I used to work as a delivery driver for a company that delivered merchandise to some convienence stores. Most of the times when I was paid cash the clerks would rummage around below the counter and pop back up with a wad of cash several inches thick. These two must have seen something like that and tried to come back for what they assumed would be a easy score.

The clerks and customer are lucky to be alive. Good to see the clerk returning fire and connecting. It ended the robbery, enabled one of the robbers to be apprehended, and may well have saved everyones lives.

If ya'll haven't had the opportunity to take some force-on-force training yet, this video should be a motivator. Marksmanship training isn't everything you need to know.

Gunfights don't usually happen in the well lighted, calm, static positions of a typical gun range. The real life 2-way range is dynamic and heart pounding.

Force-on-force training is the best way to replicated what really happens in a gunfight.

Responding to Russell's comment on the other thread:

"Poor robbers didn't even give the clerk a chance before firing. Guess that blows the whole "just give them what they want and they won't hurt you" line out of the water doesn't it?"

Certainly does. Every situation is different, but statistically the "Just give them what they want and they won't hurt you" plan is usually more risky than fighting back with a gun.
