In this particular case the answer is easy.....you do not get on your knees at gunpoint, period --unless you're only doing it to pull a gun from an ankle holster or conceal your draw in some other way. You might start to kneel crying and pleading for your life as a distraction while you draw your gun. I wouldn't kneel for a head shot even if I was unarmed.

I always thought that in a situation like that, I would grimace, say “oh my heart” and grab my chest. I would say “I’m having a heart attack” as I slid my hand under my vest for my Kimber I carry in a shoulder holster.

I hope I could make that work.
