The Blaze article said this happened Monday night. No further news, so I would discount the report.

Officer down, shot by his own gun (which was taken from him).

Suspect was fleeing from a robbery.

Well, the Blaze article has been completely updated and changed from my earlier post, so obviously I should completely revise my conclusion too!

Explosives used in chase, confirmed Bomber Suspects. Bomber suspect #1 dead. Second Police Officer shot. Bomber Suspect #2 still at large.

The MIT Campus Police Officer who was shot has died.

MA State Police say Bombing Suspect #1 has been killed. A 3rd person is in Custody.

They are saying Bombing Suspect #2 is at large in the area and there is a 20 block area secured in Watertown, MA. LEO's are searching for the suspect.

I wake up early in the morning to go to the bathroom and check the TV and OMG they are showing a you tube video of a shoot out with the bombing suspect.

So much for guns staying out of this.

One bomber at large, one dead.

Unfortunately one police officer is dead.

I am sure the residents of Watertown, MA can answer the question: "Why does anyone need an AR-15 and 30 round clip". :banghead:

They have the name of the 2nd suspect now and #1 and #2 were Brothers and have been in the USA for 1+ year.

Suspect #2 is 19 year old Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev.

It has not been reported yet.....but this tells me that this is the work of what we know as a "Sleeper Cell". If I am correct, this proves the existence of "Sleeper Cells" within the US and could see more of this type of activity. :banghead:
