I am hoping the 2 latest wounded officers are ok.

Time to call in an air strike!
Heard something about possible hostages. Might want to hold off on the drones.
Why bother to wait. This admin does not seem to have problems with collateral damage. Which I think is immoral but that seems to be their MO.

Only when there aren't any cameras or witnesses.

Fire Department being held back. I wonder if they will be able to keep it from becoming a forest fire?

Well they got him. Good. I am sorry he is dead but I expect that and I bet so did he. How much you want to bet they find a way to try and blame it on us....l.

It snowed all weekend so it's wet.

I find this part pretty "interesting".
CNN wrote:[Updated at 8:34 p.m. ET] At some point today, a suspect tried to get out the back door of the cabin, but he was pushed back inside, U.S. Marshals Service district chief Kurt Ellingson told CNN's Brian Todd.
So from what I can tell, the police set fire to a residence then prevented the occupant from leaving. With protection and service like that, who needs enemies?

Wow...if that is true they burned him alive......I don't think I like those tactics at all. Sounds like they could have gotten him alive and wanted to kill him instead. Not okay.

Well, there was that lone shot or he could have already bled out. Or he could have been bleeding out and didn't want to be taken alive. IDK

Except for the siege, it does have an eerie similarity to Waco and I'm sure many will point that out for years to come.

Are you serious? How would you expect them to get this guy alive? He shot at least two deputies today and killed one. He did not want to surrender. People are assuming they intentionally burned this murdering wacko. Has anybody thought he may have set the fire himself to abort the swat team as they moved in? An LA news station said the swat team was going in when this happened. Who knows if that is true at this point, but its a thought. Tear gas canisters could have set it as well? In reality, even if they did start the fire intentionally, which I doubt, that is by far a better tactic then trying to make a forced entry on this wacko combat veteran. All that would have done is cause more LEO's to die. At any point, including when the fire started, he could have walked out with his hands up. IMO prison was too good for him :smilelol5:

Sometimes a good old fashion killing just saves us all time and money in the end...see Ft Hood Shooter as an example!

According to how I'm interpreting what CNN reported, they already had him, then pushed him back in the burning cabin.

I'm having trouble believing it, really.
