Watching the live feed someone posted. Showed a few cops running around. Most of them looked like they eat one too many donuts. Not that I'm one to talk, but don't they have physical standards on the PD?

UPDATE: A student was interviewed. She was about 10' feet away from the shooter. She said that two guys were arguing, and one of them started to leave when the other pulled a gun and started shooting. According to her, only one guy had a gun.

Everybody rest assured, Shiela Jackson Lee is being interviewed on Fox News. She is on top of the situation  . Anyways she subtly using this to tell everyone how she is working hard to fight against gun crime.

Too early to tell for sure but it seems like this was just a random shooting between two guys that had bone to pick with eachother.

good, they should get more cameras to protect them now. ‘retractable, bulletproof doors’ too

All students i saw said 5 or 6 shots, so it may have been a New York Safe gun

Texas Tribune writers were largely anti-gun last session

Hmmm. Lets just say that there is a very good chance, the shooter (shooters) were not legally carrying.

For everyone's information. Whats actually happened there so far, from a Dispatch directly. I'm on their list ;)

Newest at top

-------------------------------------------------------
DATE: January 22, 2013 1:53:22 PM CST
LoneStar College Active Shooter

Dispatch - Unit 334 reports that 1 suspect was wounded and was transported to an area hospital; the 2nd suspect may currently be detained in the wooded area adjacent to the college; and the 3rd suspect has not been located and may be in the wooded area. One of the victim's allegedly fired back at one of the suspect's and struck him and that victim is currently detained.

Dispatch - Unit 334 is currently at the emergency command post and reports that it is located inside the college's library. There are possibly 3 suspects with no suspects currently in custody and that the shooting may be gang related. Traffic over the radio (MPD 1) indicates that MPD's evening shift Tac unit is enroute to relieve the day shift Tac unit on site. Unit 114 has also just arrived in the area and is attempting to locate the emergency command post.

Dispatch - MPD unit 334 is attempting to locate and report to this incident's emergency command center.

Dispatch - a command post has been set up at the NW side of the college. The following agencies are at the scene: HPD, HCSO, HCCO #4, Humble PD, MPD, LoneStar College PD, & DPS. MPD is having intermittent radio problems presumed to be related to the inordinate amount of radio traffic over the Harris County Radio System related to this shooting.

Dispatch - ABC 13 has live streaming video of this event over there internet feed and the following MPD units are on the scene; 853, 856, 82K16, 332, 454, and 812. The information over our police channel indicates that a shooter is in the wooded area adjacent to the college.

Dispatch - MPD's Tac Units have stated on channel 1 that they are enroute to an active shooter at the LoneStar College located at 2700 W. W. Thorne. DPS units on the scene have requested assistance and there is a report that 3 people are down.

From the post above, Dispatch seems to believe that it was gang related, that there were 3 shooters, and one victim that shot back. That's the current update. I'll let you know if anything more comes in.
