I think it's the other way around. I think they want charges brought against the shooter.
The only question is whether you wanted a ;-) ;-) if it was double sarcasm.

Why open the door? If he breaks in then do what you have to do to protect yourself other then that call the police and let them take out the trash.

Opening the door was not smart but it does not deprive him the right to defend himself no more than a woman walking down the street wearing a mini skirt and a halter top gives up her right not to be raped. Anyone who initiates physical contact by punching someone in the face better be prepared for the consequences of their actions.

Based soley on the video, the clerk did not strike first nor did he make any moves that would cause the other individual to feel threatened. At this point based strictly on the video I would call the shooting self defense. It is time that thugs realize that you can't go around punching anyone you darn well please.

Social Justice is all about ignoring the facts that right and wrong exists. It only demands equivalent outcomes. Your kid killed my kid...so your kid must die too. Social Justice doesn't ever factor in Personal Responsibility. There is never a prequel in Social Justice...only an equality in the end product. It is a very fascist and unjust philosophy...one based on ignorance and hate.

America is being inundated with this philosophy--these justified shootings like this one and the Martin (FL) case are just a couple of examples. Our public schools are being pushed into it with all of the anti-bullying legislation, the cooperative project based learning, and global warming agenda.

There will come a day...likely in my lifetime (I'm 43), where carrying a handgun outside our homes will be disallowed. This won't happen under the current Constitution...but the current Constitution is being destroyed daily by an overreaching judicial system, progressives in Congress, executive orders, and organizations like the UN.

Buckle Up!

Ericstac wrote:Clerk should of never unlocked that door. If the kids were causing problems he should of called the cops until they forced themselves in then he could take appropriate action.

But, he did open the door and the kid did something real stupid making the clerk feel threatened for his life and ended up shot.
That seems so obvious to me. Clear evidence of forcing entry goes a long way to justifying the shoot.

This is what I meant was clearly sarcastic:

Clerk had a right to unlock the door and go outside. Maybe not the smartest a thing to do, but within his rights. From the video it does not appear that the clerk acted aggressively until he himself was physically attacked. Clerk had a right to defend himself. My 2 cents.
