That conversation was very disturbing on several levels. Yes, I listened to all 25 minutes of it. Chilling. I grow more and more afraid to go to my job each day. I saw a 7th grader put in cuffs and taken away by two officers today. He was in my classroom every day last year.

Chilling indeed. I am impressed with how professionally the 911 operator handled the situation. I know they're probably trained to handle all number of situations but this one has got to be extremely rare. The kid is certainly going to be messed up, more than he already was. Crazy world.

I am curious if anybody ever picked up on any signs that the boy was emotionally disturbed or did he just suddenly snap one day?

I agree, it was very disturbing to listen to the audio but I couldn't make it through the whole thing.

Could listen to much beyond the first few minutes or so. Too much. Makes me sick. I don't even know what else to say' but may god have mercy on the family that is left to grieve.
