Security Guard stays cool, moves, shoots, scores!

Here's a good example of tactical coolness. The security guard handles this one pretty well.

I would say that he rose to the challenge and acquitted himself very well. The bad guys? Not so much.

Haha.

Is it just me, or is the best part of these videos watching the shoes come off? I don't know how many videos I have seen ( motorcycle vids, shooting vids, police chase vids, etc) where the suspect's shoes inevitably come FLYING OFFFFFF?

I'm told "Internet cafe" is a polite term for casino, somehow, lots of cash in those places apparently. I've not been in one, of course, and do not know. Like Willie Horton said of banks, "that's where the money is!"

I was wondering the same. Are they going in to rob the patrons of their wallets and purses or to steal computer equipment? :headscratch

I can certainly understand why they didn't disclose the guard's name, but why in tarnation is CNN protecting the robber shot in the act by bleeping out his name?

EVERY SINGLE ONE of these crazies trying to kill others wears shoes They help them get from place to place to hurt MORE people, and sometimes are used in escapes. Ban shoes

The guard, moved left after engaging and took concealment behind the wall. Good tactics.

The security guard kept moving, left, then right, keeping his aim on the scene. Cool action under fire.

Great response to the threat at hand which was the positive result of great situational awareness. BZ!

I saw an article elsewhere that says online gambling is legal in Florida, don't know the exact details of how it works. This means these particular internet cafes have cash on hand. I guess they are open 24 hours a day, since both this hit and the one I post below are in the wee hours.

The internet cafe in the OP is owned by "Allied Veterans of the World." They have about 25 such businesses in Florida.
Here is another attempted robbery on one of their cafes:

The guard is positioned right at the entrance and gets overrun immediately. He does come back shootin' tho, with eventually same results as in the OP.
