I cannot believe the news media would report such a bold lie.

I mean, come on, how can there be gun shootings in an area where guns aren't allowed?

and one in Maywood involved an off-duty Chicago police officer. The off-duty officer fatally shot one of two men who allegedly attacked him after the officer crashed his motorcycle in the west suburb
what? I think something is missing there?

Of course Mayor's Emanuel and Bloomberg will blame "guns purchased outside Chicago".

I went to Babies R Us yesterday, to pick up a gift for a friends granddaughter. Big gunbuster sign on the window that says "All Firearms are Prohibited on These Premises". Just makes me shake my head. How can ANY sane person think that a sign will keep out a bad guy.

Even if you destroy ALL the guns, here's what comes next.... Example courtesy of NYC.
As officers spoke to Kennedy, he became agitated, pulled out an 11-inch knife and began to put a bandanna on his head, police said. He ignored repeated orders to drop the knife and began backing away from them, continuing for blocks as he waved the knife and drew many officers into a slow-speed pursuit that itself lured onlookers.

According to the police, officers pepper-sprayed Kennedy six times but he held onto the knife throughout, wiping the spray off his face. Finally, he lunged at police and two officers shot him in the torso, police said.
