The above link is to the story of a 73 year old Detroit man who had to defend his life by
shooting a home invader.

The GG used a derringer to shoot the man who had broken the front door down, and was in his house.
The BG was hit once in the chest (caliber unknown), made it outside the house, and died.

During the news video above you can briefly see the derringer. I'm assuming that it holds 2 rounds.
I don't know if the GG fired once or 2X at the BG.

Wow - a man successfully defended his life with a derringer. That didn't leave much room for engaging
multiple targets, if the situation had called for that. I'm glad the GG's OK and the BG will no longer be able to fog a mirror.
