I saw a passing Tweet that said mall managers are debating how to react to recent violence.
I fully expect many of them to go about it all wrong by suggesting that malls be declared "gun free".

Re: Mall managers planning reaction to recent violence
While there were guns at a couple of the recent incidents, the majority of the trouble makers seemed willing to just mix it up physically. I wonder what the solution to plain physical violence would be?rp_photo wrote:I saw a passing Tweet that said mall managers are debating how to react to recent violence.

Speaking of ridiculous solutions, one of the "community leaders" had one. Nike should significantly lower the price on Air Jordans. That would fix all the problems with violence. Yeah, sure. Why not just give those shoes away. My guess is the crowds would still be fighting over who got them first.

Well, not hosting rap concerts might be a good start.

I didn't think guns had anything to do with one of these except for the police and mall cops. Guns are not the problem. Unruly, undisciplined, and people with a complete lack of respect for others are.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

...that's precisely why we can expect them to make new rules about THINGS...that law-abiding folks like us will have to live with...rather than make rules about PEOPLE who have money to spend...they don't care about safety, just cash flow and liability...so we'll likely pay for this mess, too...
