A convince store clerk was stabbed in the face after he told a man to stop stealing items from his store. I go to this store every time I am in El Paso for gas and missed the event by 30 minutes or so visiting a comic book store a mile down the road. Though I don't know the clerk personally I've spoken to him many times on my stops. It is sad to think some people think it is a good idea to 1) steal and 2) assault some one over a few items from a corner store.

This is why I choose to get my license. If the situation can not be defused I want to have the best tool I hope I never have to use.
