Valero Robbery
I could not find this if it is already posted. These bad guys shoot first and then rob.

Re: Valero Robbery
Wow, humans look just like any other animal when they are shot. See that dude scrambling over the counter? Bet his thoughts weren't on money then.
Thanks for the post. Makes you more in tune that thugs have no regard for innocents.

That's presence of mind under duress. To retrieve a weapon and then engage, I think that's why they are still alive.

Re: Valero Robbery
I just finished watching that video and was going to see if anyone posted it here yet... Guess so!
I am kind of amazed/shocked that the BGs came in guns blazing! That is a far cry from the more typical stick a gun in the guys face, get your money, and run.
Carry all the time indeed.

Re: Valero Robbery
Wow - a couple of observations on this incident:
The clerk who eventually fired had sought cover behind the short end of the counter, and if the robber
had simply walked to the side of the counter, the clerk could have been shot dead easily.
The clerk did not have his gun on him. He had to make a boarding house reach to the shelf under the counter
to retrieve his weapon in order to engage the BG's. All while crouched on the floor in a rather poor position
for armed resistance.
Notice that the unarmed clerk (the one in the horizontally striped shirt) was directly behind the BG as the BG
was shot by the armed clerk. If the clerk's bullets had been slightly off target, or had over-penetrated the BG,
the unarmed clerk would have been shot by his partner.
Perhaps in the excitement, maybe it was the GG's bullet that over-penetrated the BG's arm and hit his friend in the leg?

Re: Valero Robbery
good observations and i concur with all that you stated. the additional angles provide a little more insight into the way these pieces of garbage think and operate.
hope they throw the book at these scumbags.

Re: Valero Robbery
Or if the customer was a CHL and carrying, both BG's could have been DOA. They threatened him, but allowed him to back off. He could have taken cover and stopped the whole thing since they ignored him after he backed off.
