When police arrived, officers arrested 21-year-old Adam Emerson Rhein, from Washington, Virginia. Rhein faces charges of felonious assault and appearing intoxicated in public. He's been released on a $2,500 secured bond.

Investigators say Rhein is not a Virginia Tech student.
