Houston: Man found dead, possible carjacker

In Houston around 4 p.m. Friday a man was found dead in the parking lot of the Crestmont Village apartments in the 5600 block of Selinsky (south outside the 610 loop about a mile from Worthing High School—I don't know this area).

Police later stopped a vehicle containing two men who claimed to have been victims of an attempted carjacking. The investigation is ongoing.

This could be a legitimate self-defense scenario, but someone forgot to call 911. OTOH ...

Later report says drive-by and the men who were detained earlier have been arrested.
