Those darn guns that have a mind of their own, "the gun did it" ....
"Negligent" discharge, is probably the proper term, rather than "accidental" discharge probably, but details are skimpy ....An officer was attempting to break in the window of the vehicle when his weapon fired and fatally struck the suspect.

If this shooting, accident or not, had got blood and gore all over my car's interior, you better believe somebody would be getting a bill for the clean-up/restoration of the vehicle's interior. Did I mention the window?
