I remember in grade school, the whole playground came to a stop. everyone stood at attention and bowed their heads when a funeral went by. Yeah things have changed.

Y'know, I'm not really sure, but that's possible. They were doing literally everything they could think of to keep me alive, and wound up (again, literally) running out of ideas and hope. Sheer orneriness did the trick, finally.... :woohoo

Ummm, we derailed the thread again, didn't we....

Keith B wrote:I had a lady almost hit me while directing traffic for a parade once. Did the same thing and looked right at me as she came barreling across the intersection. I hit her hood with my flashlight (Mag-light) and put a fairly significant dent in it. She got out screaming at me. I told her she could either shut up and sit quietly while I wrote her a ticket for failure to yield or she could go to jail for assault on a police officer. She got back in her car but was super red the whole time. I took my time writing it. The parade had ended and about 20 cars went through the intersection before she was handed her signed ticket back and let go on her way. :evil2:
Anyone who has spent any time directing traffic could tell some similar stories, me included. Traffic like that is one of the more dangerous duties of any LEO.

I have banged or kicked more than one fender for similar stupidity. I didn't have a mag lite then so I didn't use my flashlight. :banghead:
I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, and I won't be laid a hand on.
I don't do those things to other people and I require the same of them.

My husband being future law enforcement said that women is not going to be a happy camper the cops realy get a hold of her. They were already irritated because Officer Smith died. Cops don't take kindly to someone messing with their own.
