Houston: Bogus traffic stop leads to carjacking

#1

Post by seamusTX »

On west I-10 in Harris County Tuesday night bogus cops performed a traffic stop of three Mexican men and stole their vehicle and (obviously) everything in it.

No suspects have been identified.
The stolen vehicle was a white 1995 or 1996 Ford Ranger with Virginia license plate XJC-8990.
Hardly worth stealing.

If they had 3 men in a Ranger, there wasn't much room for anything else

Probably needed a pickup truck, instead of their Ford Dually, which they could back into an ATM machine location and haul it off.
