UT: Park police officer shot

#1

Post by seamusTX »

Friday evening in the Poison Spider Mesa Trail area near Moab, Utah, a park police officer made a traffic stop. The driver reportedly shot the officer three times. The officer is in critical condition.

The alleged shooter, who is thought to be wounded, fled into the park. Authorities searched all day Saturday and resumed the search today.

I hope the officer makes it and they catch the shooter.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

A warrant has been issued for a suspect, who has not been tracked down.

Reportedly the 40-year-old man was angry because his mother threw him out of her house.

I guess that's a good reason to commit capital murder. It's a good thing she didn't also spank him.

Suspect has not been found. Possibly he died in the wilderness. The temperature has been near freezing.
