"I'm in a gang and I'm going to kill you...

Post by Beiruty »

A 27-year-old man slipped into a Far North Dallas apartment through an open door and molested a teenage girl as she slept Sunday morning, according to police documents.

The 13-year-old victim's father rushed to the girl's aid and found Napoleon Romero Lopez (right) hiding in a closet in the apartment, the documents said. A violent struggle ensued between the victim's father and Lopez, who at one point bit the father's left thumb.

"I'm in a gang and I'm going to kill you if you call the police," Lopez said, according to police.

I wonder if he's MS13. The article says he's from El Salvador and may be an "undocumented" rapist.

I would hate to shoot someone, but if anyone does what this guy did in my house it would be his last day on Earth.

This is a perfect example of why we need to secure our borders. Do we have rapists, gangs, and other "freelance" criminals here in the US... Yes, but they are from here. Why do US citizens have to be victimized by someone that shouldn't be here in the first place. Granted it "could have been" a US citizen that walked through the door and molested that 13 year old child, but it WASN'T. He should be held without bail as he is not a legal citizen of this country. We need a different legal system to deal with these types. If we grant them the same rights as US citizens (including American tax dollars paying for prison stay, food, medical, as well as legal fees), they get all of the benefits without any consequences. If he somehow makes bail, you know he'll run back across the border to avoid prosecution and gain immunity. Once there he'll just bide his time until he can come back and do the same thing again.

Anyone found hiding in my daughter's closet, especially given the rest of the circumstances, will not be allowed the courtesy of a struggle.

Specially boy friends..... Well, I got to wait for my turn since my daughter's only 15 months old. But as early as now, I am already starting to worry - let's face it, kids now do a lot of stupid stuff. No matter how protective we are and how good we bring our own kids up, there are a lot out there who can be a bad influence to our kids.

I can't imagine finding a rapist hiding in my daughters closet, much less being unarmed while doing so. And if I had been armed, there would have been little to no struggle.
