I couldn't believe the media babe declared that they were still investigating whether speed played a part in the accident -- 'ya think?
Actually, I was wondering about maybe a stuck accelerator -- probably will be difficult to determine from the remaining rubble.

I was chatting back and forth on Youtube with a guy driving one of the cars in the video. He's the one who's seen swerve to the right when the car hits the bridge. The driver of the Firebird was ejected, slides accross the road all the way to the right. The Youtube guy says he stopped mere feet from running over his body. He posted pictures of what was left of the car but no pictures of the guy's body because he thought he was dead and didn't think it was right to do that. So not only did the driver escape death from the accident but was nearly run over too.

It's also amazing that the timing was such that flying car parts didn't take out a bunch of other cars on the highway.
