In a possibly futile attempt to drag my thread back into reality ...mctowalot wrote:How many monkeys does the average monkey junkie go through in a day?
These animal collectors, or hoarders as they are sometimes called, have no limit.
I have an interest in horses. The authorities have busted people who acquired over a hundred horses in some cases, which they could not feed or care for.
I've seen the same thing with cats and dogs.

I think that the concept of "collecting" animals would be no different to certain people than collecting Barbie dolls. Except Barbies are not living beings that have feelings and certain biological needs to be kept alive and healthy.
The people who kill, buy and sell animal parts for "medicinal" purposes are a different breed. They are greedy and selfish people who pray on the insecurities of others.
