4 American tourists from NC visiting visiting Mexico across from Brownsville were attacked and kidnapped just after entering Mexico. Apparently they were racially profiled and assumed to be Haitian smugglers. 2 are dead. RIP.

Gun used in kidnapping of American tourists purchased in US by straw buyer, who apparently admitted he was paid $100 to purchase the gun for the Mexican drug cartel. He has been arrested.

4 surfer tourists murdered in Mexico because they made mistakes like not cooperating with the robbers. Two were from Australia another country where guns are banned.
