Legislators pass teacher school carry in Florida because of this school shooting.

To bad it wasn’t passed much sooner.

Criticism of the coward of Broward.

I’d have to put some blame on the bosses.

Did they train their men on what to do?

Training allows you to act immediately.

To heck with training. A man - A REAL MAN - protects the innocent. They don't come much more innocent than school children.

Good history lesson. Thank you!

Apparently he was not taught that as part of his training as a police officer or he decided to ignore it.

Peterson blamed Broward County sheriff Scott Israel for the criticism directed at him, saying Israel “made me his ‘personal and political scapegoat’ to take the ‘onus’ off of himself and place the blame on me for the massacre at my school.”
There is some truth to what Peterson said in his report. Scott Israel's department had inadequate training and Israel's instructions allowed the Peterson to stand down.

What you can do and what you should do, are not always the same! Peterson was the only person immediately available with a firearm, his lack of intestinal fortitude allowed a lunatic to gun down unarmed people while he stood outside!

Prosecutors want access to his medical records.

He is shown of Facebook with a cast on his wrist.

He apparently cut it off himself before the shootings.

This would show premeditation.

Defense attorneys naturally object siting his right to privacy.

Judge will rule next week.

Broward County Sheriff Gregory Tony announced Tuesday that the embattled school resource officer who was at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on the day of the school massacre has been arrested and fired for neglect of duty.

Peterson has been booked into the Broward Main Jail on 11 criminal charges, including child neglect, culpable negligence and perjury.

I thought it was for child neglect.

No neglect of duty here in this article.

But said he was fired from Sherrif’s office.

I thought he retired long ago.

Faces 97 years.

Facebook's lawyers are in federal court right now claiming that when you use Facebook you have no expectation of privacy whatsoever, that is a public square and anything you put there can be looked at by anyone.

Face book has privacy settings. They don’t honor those?

The Nancy Pelosi slurred video was created by an African American Conservative from New York. He created it as a joke and shared it on Facebook, it exploded from there.

A journalist called and asked Facebook where did it start and they gave him the man’s name and he was then doxed. So he may have had his settings on public and therefore Facebook felt no obligation to hide his name. Or Facebook has no privacy.

I have always been told that what you post online is there forever and that if you don't want it seen don't put it out there. If anyone actually thinks that privacy settings are sacred, I have some really nice property to sell you.

Here is the British version.

Adds he will not be able to possess a firearm.

He could get essentially the same sentence as the shooter who is trying to plead guilty and get life.

The former deputies future is fraught with danger.
