The Chicago Tribune reported that Aaron Goldstein, 42, and members of his campaign team were approached by three men in their early 20s. One of the men had a handgun and demanded Goldstein and the campaign aides turn over the camera equipment, and other personal belongings, including their cell phones, which they did.

Perhaps if members of his campaign were responsible gun carriers, this would have turned out differently?

He's running for the Attorney General slot on the Democrat ticket, and he doesn't have enough political clout to get a ccw, and is naive enough to flash expensive consumer goods in a city park? I'd love to see what that retired Chicago cop's blog sez about this incident.
