Serial robber with a baseball cap instead of a hoodie.

http://www.click2houston.com/news/surve ... as-station

Woman robbed at gas station by man in familiar hoodie.

Obviously, hoodies are the contributing factor for these people to become criminals. I have worn them in the past, but it must have been the wrong brand. I never felt the urge to rob or kill anyone while wearing it. I think this should be investigated, and restrict hoodie purchases to only those who can pass a background check.

Man beaten, stabbed and set on fire.

Used an Internet dating site.

Even brought the chicken wings the lady asked for.

A person was found dead in the HPD Westside Station.

Inmate? Visitor? Police officer or employee? It doesn't say.

Very sad. Tragic. It was a police officer, who may have taken his own life. My condolences to his family and to the other HPD officers.

Always very hard to understand and always very difficult for his family and friends.

The rifle is a " semi-automatic machine gun".

Interesting read on the side of Houston I don't know much about. But those people are using more firepower now.

The in-laws of somebody I know were shot in a brutal home invasion in Houston a few days ago. They were both 69, sitting peacefully in their living room watching TV. Somebody crashed through the front door, shot the couple and ran off with whatever he could snatch up and drove off in their car. The wife survived, but will need "many years" to recover. The husband had major head trauma and was kept on artificial life support in a vegetative state. Yesterday his family decided to remove the support. A suspect was arrested a few hours later.

What a tragedy. And how infuriating.

All as you stated, but appears to be in Fort Worth.

I didn't get a single comment on this. Surprising!

Maybe because we have gotten so used to the media, misreporting just about everything firearms related, we just shrug it off as SOP, for any story.

Man arrested. Excellent work LEO's.
Good. But I gotta wonder what this woman was doing "getting her hair done" at 2 AM?

Note how many of these happened after midnight.
Mom told me Nothing good happens after midnight.

$65,000 reward offered for information.

Black car leaving the scene. He had written to the district attorney that he was in fear of his and his families life, due to a case he was working on or previous cases he worked on. He apparently had worked for the previous sheriff and worked on internal affair type investigations. Apparently a very well liked officer.

He was wearing a bullet proof vest. His murderer shot him in the neck.

His funeral was yesterday.

RIP

Face tattoo man arrested and charged with capital murder.

New thing to watch for. Face tattoo's, or would that be a protected class?
