Now the " Divider in Chief" is coming to Dallas next week and anti- police protests are occurring around the country.

Do you think Obama or any of these protesters will mention the 4,500 Blacks murdered each year by other Blacks in drug and gang related violence? No.

They will look to disarm us and continue to further hamstring the police. The protesters in Dallas were chanting for violence against police just prior to that cowardly ambush. Makes me absolutely sick to listen to it.

I have a friend in my neighborhood, a 70 year old lawyer who has asked me to take him to the range this weekend, show him how to safely handle a firearm, and to help him purchase his first handgun. Why? Because he is concerned about the lawlessness brought about by the corrupt Obama administration. Obama's legacy is ensured, there is no doubt there.

Dallas PD HQ has received a threat and is in SWAT lockdown. Supposedly the threat(s) drove up from Houston. I am not hearing much on the scanner channels, but Twitter is constant updates.

Now that the names have been released, Michael Smith is my friend. His wife and daughters are our friends. I coached his older daughter, a classmate and teammate of my daughter, for many years.

I've lost many friends, but none like this and none since I've been married and become a father and none that were married and had kids of their own.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

C-dub sorry for your lost. My prayers for all those who lost loved ones in a senseless protest and ambush. Evil reigns in our streets because, "judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter."

The talking points of guns, police brutality, race relations, etc... It is evil the reigns.

Last year police killed 1001 people.
502 Whites
250 Blacks
163 Latino
18 Asians
13 American Indian
54 unknown

The African American man has to tell his child nothing different from what I tell my grandchildren when they come in contact with the police DO what they tell you to do.

Continued prayers for the victims and their family and friends. I recall that only 90 were "unarmed", but that number doesn't tell the whole story. Many were shot while engaged in trying to assault an officer , take a away the weapon from the officer , shot inadvertently/accidentally or victims of a stray bullet in a justifiable shooting. A black male is 18.5 times more likely to shoot a police officer than be shot by one. To be fair I wish I had the statistic for all the races, but I couldn't find it. We all know there a bad shootings, but the news and talking heads never portray the reality of how infrequent they are give the enormous number of police encounters in this country and that they're the exception.

Hey ya'll, sorry I haven't responded. I've been out of town this weekend. I guess I should have specified. I have no qualms with the guy being dead and i'm not worried about how he died. I was just unsettled by the fact that PDs have bombs. That is something I've never really heard of before. Anyway, I was informed today by someone who works with Waco PD that someone "tagged" a Waco CSI vehicle with the words "Die Pig" while there was a CSI inside. It should be public knowledge by now, so there may be news articles on it already.

I can guarantee that just about all SWAT teams have C4, a plastic explosive, but not a 'bomb'. C4 is used to breach doors/walls. It's explosive playdough, but only when used with det-cord.

I searched the forum/thread, but I did not see this video posted anywhere, or if there was a rule against it. It is disturbing.

This video shows that the gunman was on the ground & mobile, probably for the entire event. You can also see how he baits the officer by firing on the left side of the pillar to get the officer to back up, then fires from the right side, never giving the officer a chance. :(

That video turns my stomach. It's a shame the guy didn't have a rifle instead of a camera.

I thoroughly agree. Any method used to take out that sack of slime is fine by me.
