OK, stupid question of the day here folks, my Nomex suit is zipped up and ready....
My wife and I have been recently kicking around the notion of becoming NRA members, and she asked me about what sort of benies come with a 1500 dollar lifetime membership. I pulled up the site, and showed her are the fringe perks, but one I didn't see, that I could have sworn I read on their site at one point or another, was the perk of having legal assistance through the organization, to the tune of an actual lawyer if it came down to trial situation.
Can anyone vouch for this, or provide some clarification as to the organization's standing on this?

Re: Stupid Question of the Day
Nope. You can purchase legal protection through the NRA if you join that program, at additional charge, but it's not included in a Lifetime membership.
