An Important Message to NRA Members

#1

Post by Charles L. Cotton »

Here is a message from the current NRA Officers and Past Presidents to our Members. It is posted on NRA.org and a copy is attached.

I have no doubt that some folks would like to see more detail, but that's not possible at this time. We are suing the Gov. of New York (individually and as Gov.) and the former Superintendent of the NY Dept. of Financial Services (individually and as Superintendent) in one lawsuit and Ackerman McQueen (NRA's advertising/public relations firm) in another suit. We are now involved in an investigation by the New York State AG. We simply cannot give the details that I would love to provide until later.

Chas.

Thank you for the update link. I always like to reserve judgement and am sure to read all sources of information before deciding good/bad on a subject.

I have been a member for more years than I care to count. I want to believe the best. Your post is appreciated, and thought provoking. I so very much want the NRA to come out of this shining as a beacon of freedom.
Do what you say you're gonna do.

We just filed another suit against Ackerman McQueen. This will allow me to provide more information. I hope to do so in the next week to ten days.

Sadly Tom Gresham has jumped on the "NRA BAD!!!!" bandwagon based on his recent tweets. I even tweeted a link to a previous post from Charles and called Tom's attention to it. Got a boiler plate reply that referenced media statements made by NRA officials before Tom deleted his tweet. It's been a while since I paid any attention to Jeff Knox, but Tom is sounding a lot like Mr. Knox who at one time made me think he only wanted to lead a revolt within the NRA much like his daddy did.

Don't get me wrong, Jeff seems like he is a nice guy if you ever talk to him and very passionate about gun rights but sometimes one's passion can cloud their vision and make them see enemies where only friends stand.

Thanks Charles

Would love to see that anti 2A, anti - religion, baby murderer Cuomo from New York lose, and lose big. That would be justice. God speed!

Thank you Mr. Cotton. I continue being a faithful, supportive NRA member. This update answers the questions raised by recent attacks against the NRA leaders, against us as members, and against the 2nd Amendment that is a critical protection here in the USA against tyranny. Thanks again.
