I don't have any information other than a video posted on a Facebook page. Looks like alot of black smoke, and you could hear the ammo burning off.
I saw the video on the DFW Scanner page.

This is on 377 SW of Benbrook in an area known as Whiskey Flats, for those who are not familiar.

That sucks... I live in SW Benbrook, just off 377 & 2871. That is my preferred range if I don't feel like driving to the ranch.
I hope they had insurance, and I hope that they rebuild.

They are saying it was an electrical fire. But, whatever it was, the range is gone. A total loss.

That's a shame been in there a couple of times good folks working there. Also where I had my fingerprints and photo taken for my CHL. Hope they had insurance and can rebuild.

The owner is a Certified NRA instructor for many courses. His range popped up when I was considering to get certification for Instructor for Reloading and Pistol.

I saw the owner on one of the local news stations tonight. He said he is going to rebuild but it will take time. At the time of the fire there were almost 40 people in the building when it started. ATF is investigating but the news reporter said it did appear to be an electrical malfunction. His retail building was apparently not damaged.

From the WFAA interview with the owner, the fire was contained to the ammo bunker, or in his words, "a secured room where the ammunition was stored." The fire marshal who was on scene did say the fire was contained to the ammunition room, which spread. The storefront, WFAA reported, was not destroyed. The owner, to me, seemed to , construct the building to minimize the damage, if such a catastrophic event were to occur. I pray he recovers quickly from this horrible loss. He is a business owner and kept his customers and employees safety in mind.

What a shame! I liked that range and everyone was always nice when I used it. They have my sympathy and hopes for a speedy rebuild!

Scheduled for fingerprint scan Wednesday morning. Is that part destroyed/closed as well? I live in Granbury.

I would call, today, and check to see if they are re-scheduling the appointments. I doubt, based on what we saw on the television reports, that they're going to be open for business anytime soon.

On TV the owner said that they would rebuild.
