I want to test my EDC ammo plus practice some rapid fire drills. Is there a range near Houston that permits rapid fire? The ones I've been to do not.

Top Gun, in Houston, seemed to allow rapid fire in their rental lanes when I shot there while taking an NRA pistol class last year.

Pasadena Gun Center -- it's an indoor range but allow rapid fire, heck you can even rent one of their fully auto's to have fun with there

From the
Boyert Shooting Center website (emphasis mine):
Boyert Shooting Center’s rate of fire policy is every round you fire must be controlled; however,
there is no maximum rate of fire.

SCORE!! This place isn't far from my office. I went in there once just to tour the place. Very high nice (more like a country club), but I didn't pay attention to their range rules. Since I never shot there, they never occurred to me as an option.
I live on the north side. Everywhere I typically go is clearly posted. At Carter's Country the RO even announces every time there is a commence fire "only one round per second". I need to run 3 to 4 magazines as fast as I can to get a level of comfort that my EDC ammo with my gun won't malfunction under high stress.
Thank you everyone!

One more option for you - unless something has changed in the past few years, Shiloh Shooting Range (Vhttp://
www.shilohshooting.net/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) near Willowbrook has no problem with rapid fire, so long as it's controlled.

I've shot full-auto at Boyert, PGC, Shiloh and Sportsman's Outlet. None of them cared as long as I kept my rounds on target.
