Ruger revolver rentals

#1

Post by T3hK1w1 »

Does anyone know of a shooting range in the NW houston area that has a ruger GP100 or SP101 I can rent? I am planning on buying on of these guns in a couple of months when I turn 21 but have not been able to find a place that has one, and seeing as I have never fired a revolver I think it would be very important to get a feel for it BEFORE I drop $500+ dollars on it.

You should be able to buy a new SP-101 for under $400.00 (just so you'll know).

Both are excellent pistols IMO.

I can provide an SP-101 on the same outing if you like.

I have a SP101....I am South of Houston if you want to try it out some weekend before you buy. Take care and good luck in your search.

Thank you to the multiple people who offered me the use of their guns, it really shows what a bunch of generous souls there are here. I have a shoot set up now ( Thank you Longtooth and Flintknapper!), so I should be fine.
