Top Gun Shooting Club

I took my 13 yr. old son with me to work on his CAS skills. He told me about 3 months ago that he wants to shoot Cowboy Action. I don't have to tell ya'll how happy this makes me. I put my irons away in '06 to spend more time with the family.
We showed up at 10 a.m. and we were welcomed by the owner. I wish I could remember names. He is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. NO attitude that you get at all ranges anymore. He spent a lot of time talking to my son about shooting skills, different firearms, reloading you name it. We finally left at 1:00 and could of stayed longer if it wasn't getting a little warm and out of bullets. :fire They have covered shooting now, I was there last year and they had tables only. He has big plans for everything from an arena for mounted shooters, to a CAS village. He wants the CAS props to stay up year round so you can practice when you wan't. As you know most ranges won't let you shoot from a holster or shoot fast. Well thats what he is all about. He also shoots CAS and understand whats needed. It won't happen over knight but things are looking good out there and I will be back. It's only an hour from Frisco and an easy drive. I could go on but I already have.:

Staight shootin,
