I got an invite to go hear about them building a new facility somewhere in DFW.

Are you going? Keep us informed! (Was it an open invitation?)

Brief exam of their site make it sound EXPENSIVE!
Valhalla indoor ranges use only reduced-lead hazard or non-toxic frangible rounds in order to reduce health and injury risks to our guests and staff.
Membership in The Valhalla Shooting Club is the key to priority access and exclusive privileges. Memberships are limited to 550 individuals and 50 corporate groups. General Memberships number 51 through 100 are currently being offered for a one-time cost of $68,000 which includes custom defensive pistol, reduced rates at Valhalla and Elk Mountain Resort, a private training package and much more. Retired General Norman Schwarzkopf and former NBA star Kareem Abdul-Jabbar are two of the club's Founding Members. Membership privileges extend to all guests accompanying the member while on site.

Rob Pincus was there early on. He may have been head instructor, but I'm not sure.

ETA: Found this writeup on Rob and Valhalla. "From 2003 through 2007, Rob was the Director of The Valhalla Training Center in Montrose, Colorado. Rob developed the training doctrines and programs that brought Valhalla to the attention of the entire shooting industry as a leading source of reality based firearms training. During this time, Valhalla was identified by the Rand Corporation as a leader in private sector reality based training and as a sole source provider to 10th Group Army Special Forces for Extreme Close Quarters Counter Ambush training. When the owners of Valhalla chose to close the training center component of the club, Rob began offering his training through his own company, I.C.E. Training."
