Shiloh finally replaced all their A/Cs and just added more lighting. So it's nice and well lit in the ranges and the new units keep it much more comfortable.

Maybe they realized they need to be more competitive with Spring Guns & Ammo.

Good. I'll probably start going again...especially since Spring Guns and Ammo raised their prices. Now its $16 for one person and $5 for the second person. It was previously $15 for up to two shooters per lane.

I need to find a good indoor location and based on this latest information it sounds like Shiloh just might get my business.
Too hot for Hot Wells right now.

I gotta get back to Shiloh. Been too long since I've said "howdy" to the Sanford family. And the new AC and lighting are nice, added perks!

we had always liked the place. until we went a few months ago. every range i have been to has been rent lane by the hour, but they never "clockwatched". it even says something to that effect on shilohs website that unless they are on a wait they dont either. well pops, baby bro, and i were in the front range by ourselves and had been for at least an hour, when one of the gents came in and asked if we were going to shoot some more. we had moments before sent baby bro out to purchase some more targets. we said yessir and he informed us that we would need to go pay for another hour. please keep in mind we were the only 3 people on the front range. while that is fine and we indeed did pay for an hour do not say that " if we arent on a waitlist, we arent watching the clock" as a grown man that keeps my word, i will spend my money at places that do the same. just thought i would share my story. great facility, and other that this one gent which i had never seen there before we have always had a great time.

god bless.

You're not alone in this. More than a few have noticed some inconsistencies with how they operate nowadays...

Went there for the first time a few days ago.

A new younger fella made me feel like a complete idiot. I hadn't shot there before so I was asking questions so as to avoid any trouble and he was just snide and fairly impatient.

I apologized to him and he just disregarded me.

I wasn't pleased for my first time going there.

just my experience.

Pcernuch, my name is Jeff and my family owns Shiloh. The employee that tried to ring you up for a second hour told us about the situation, thinking we would be pleased with his attempts to bring in more money. We were mortified, that's not the way we operate. Needless to say, that employee has since moved on to brighter things. Please PM me your info and you and your boys will shoot on us on your next visit. Mr. D, first off, we apologize for the treatment from our staff member. We have some new fellas behind the counter and I sure would like to figure out who needs an attitude adjustment. Please PM me any info you would like to share such as date and time of day you were at the range and description of the employee. I appreciate you trying to get to know the rules before you started shooting. We would like to buy you a round of lead therapy on us as well. We're glad you guys like the improvements, the difference really is night and day. We knew we had the IDPA seal of approval when they stayed an extra 45 minutes shootin' the bull the first night! Skiprr, it's been too long bud! I look forward to your return! :txflag:

In that case maybe you can clarify that No Magnums Rule of the range... I get that it includes hunting loads, sometimes includes 357's and sometimes not, but does it apply to that new 327 Magnum of mine? So far no one will answer from your facility. You can PM if you'd rather...

i shoot at shiloh often, and, i've been regularly attending their tact1 class every wednesday...

Yes, the AC could be better.
Yes, the lighting could be better.

however, The people there are awesome IMO... i've never had a bad experience. i'm glad we have them in town.

The instructors are friendly and very knowledgeable... i dont remember the other guys name but chuck is great.

i love shiloh. keep up the good work!
