I dont know if anyone has gone yet or not but Shoot Smart on 35 near Keller is a great indoor range. Low price to shoot and a lounge to hang out in with snacks and TV while your waiting to shoot or if you just need a break from shooting. Highly recomended range.

It looks like a nice place with lots of activities and classes on their website.

I'm a member... Glad I joined...
Took a chance when the place was still an empty metal building.
Nice folks. Still working out some kinks, but, I especially like the "private lane".
It's completely isolated from the rest of the place and they allow draw to fire on that one lane.

I live right across the highway and was checking it out for months before they actually opened... It turned out very nicely.
OT, but are you a designer/artist of some sort? Your username made me see a big color wheel in my head suddenly...

RGB!
Very good..... Except that some would say that
real designers work in CMYK.

And for print designers, I'd agree with you!

Im a mile and a half up the road from there I stoped by once place was packed. Looks like they really dont do sales much at all unless they added more counters sence I was there. they also seemed to haev a rather small rental counter.

I took my CHL there a few weeks back. Had a great instructor, ex cop now into private security, and nice class room. I would recomend to anyone also they offer several other classes to the public and have a female only CHL class.
They did tell me that they plan on expanding and adding more lanes but thaat would not be for a few month to possibly a year or so.

As someone who came out of the print design world into the web design world, I get disrespected by everybody.

Nope... Just a name I liked...
Derived from a Pink Floyd album and some basic Physics.

They have the space available to double in size.... But first they need to pay some bills and make sure they have the business to support the extra investment. I encouraged them to consider more than one additional isolated lane, if/when they do an expansion....

It's been crowded on weekends... I was by once during the week and they had 3-4 lanes going (out of 11) around lunch time on a Tuesday (IIRC it was a Tuesday)... The crowd during the weekend seemed to move through quickly, with not a long wait time, but the lanes were pretty noisy with all 11 lanes going at once.
They also started some interesting shooting leagues during the week *nights). haven't had a chance to check them out yet..
Overall.. I like the place pretty well and it's convenient and out of the weather (not too hot or too cold)...

Finally a nice range, operated by nice folks, in a nice area and just 2-3 miles from my house.
I went twice last week. The private lane was great to practice transitioning from AR to pistol, reloads and other drills.
I can't wait till I get home for good and can start joining some of their events and classes.
