Has anyone heard about the Tom Bean, TX range? I used to go out there once or twice a month and was told he closed it temporarily. Thanks for the info if anyone has any. It is a good 50 miles drive for me one way, so I have been wanting to find out before going out there.

Oh and just so everyone knows why am I asking. It isn't like there is a phone I can call. It is a non monitored piece of land with a money lock box. He operates on the faith system which some have ruined for the rest of us apparently. There are 3 simple rules - Follow the firearm safety rules, pick up after yourself, and pay $3 per person per hour. That is it, you can shoot anything even .50 BMG and NFA. Everytime I go out there, there was trash everywhere that some lazy person left behind.

There is facebook page. It was still closed as far as I know. Local DA made a lot of fuss about stray bullets. I don't know why NRA TSRA did not help.
