I recently moved to Little elm and haven't found any nearby ranges. I mainly shoot pistols and would like if it had a skeet thrower too. Anyone know of any? I live off eldorado and walker. Thanks

Unfortunately Backwoods closed, it was really close at one time. Looks like housing developers gobbled up the land...

From Little Elm, your closest option is going to be Elm Fork for pistol and skeet. Denton County Sports Association is the closest to you, but I don't think they have skeet.

I agree on Elm Fork. I've lived here in LE most all my life and the way this area has grown, all the
good places that were close have been shut down. Elm Fork seems to be the best and easiest to get to if you are looking for a shooting range. Take the new Lewisville Lake toll bridge to 35E and you are on your way. Very nice place, skeet, pistol, tactical, rifle, and well staffed.

Elm Fork is the nicest range in DFW and probably the closest to you. Is outdoors.
See my signature links. I have most of the DFW ranges listed on one link and the NRA range finder on the other.
I live in Frisco and drive to Garland Gun Range and dont care because they are open 10-8 365 days a year.
Bullettrap is in Plano (you probably know this) and for indoor pistol shooting is the best and closest.

I live just north of Little Elm on 720 almost to 380. I was headed to Garland frequently and on occasion Bass Pro (Grapevine) and DFW on Mockingbird.

Elm Fork has a really nice woods course over at the skeet range.

I'm in little elm also. I normally go over to BT since I work in plano and usually head there after work. I've shot at Garland a few times and like it because it is cheaper but farther fort me to get to.I've been meaning to go over and check out elm fork since my co worker goes there and recommends it. Glad to see more le people on here.

With the new Lewisville Lake bridge to Lake Dallas / Corinth open, I think your closest range is actually
Denton County Sports in Argyle. It's about 15 minutes from the bridge. Just stay on 2181 and make the left at John Alton Rd. to Copper Canyon Rd. and follow that until just short of 407.
It's a 2 position membership only range, but very well run, clean, and safe, and easy to join. Maximum distance is about 15 yards, which is fine for most pistol work.
