Guest speakers at ARC

Not sure if this is the appropriate place, but I thought I'd mention, last night, the Austin Rifle Club had none other than Alice Tripp, TSRA's legislative lobbyist, as a guest speaker at their Monthly Membership meeting. She had a lot of interesting things to say, and there was a good question and answer period as well.

This guest speaker was supposedly the first in a series to help inform their membership about current events and other general gun knowledge. It would be great if the ARC continues doing this sort of thing, you never can learn too much factual information - especially regarding those things that are rarely mentioned in the news and are picked up through rumors on various forums and blogs. Getting a chance at this type of interaction, first-hand, is the way to go.

I'm glad to see them moving forward with education... Good job ARC :clapping:

06nop, I was in attendance also. Alice is a fine speaker indeed. If I heard correctly next month will feature the CEO of STI, which should be good too.

Sorry about the confusion. So where is the Red Cross shooting range? ;-)
